Containers:
We provide blue plastic recycling bins for glass, plastic, and cans. For mixed paper, you may use paper bags, cardboard boxes, a separate blue plastic recycling bin, or your own reusable container, such as a plastic basket or crate. You can also tie it in a bundle. If you require a blue recycling bin, contact the Board of Directors.
What's Included:
Plastic, glass, cans:
Plastic bottles with necks. Do not include bottle caps. Do not include other plastic. Do not include bottles that contained hazardous products. You can recycle any plastic bottle with a neck, regardless of the resin code (numbers 1 through 7) on the bottom. Jars and bottles that contained food or beverages. Please rinse them. The paper labels can remain. All metal food, beverage, and pet food cans. Aluminum foil products, such as foil wrap, pie plates, and other food trays. Please clean and wipe off foil. Tins from cookies, fruit cakes, popcorn, and similar items.
  Mixed paper:
Newspapers, including glossy inserts. Cardboard (flatten). Cereal and other boxes (remove any liners). Paperback and telephone books. Magazines and catalogs. Unwanted mail. Other clean and dry paper, including computer paper.
We Cannot Accept:
Packing material, such as styrofoam or plastic. Waxed paper or carbon paper. Hard-backed books Cardboard beverage containers, such as milk or juice cartons. These are coated with a thin plastic film, which the recycling processes are not set up to handle. Paper or cardboard contaminated with paint, chemicals, food, or kitty litter. Foil gift wrap. Paper towels, napkins, or tissues. These are paper products, but are frequently contaminated with food
